Voting day: It’s finally here.

After 78 days in what will be a historic election that has been watched internationally, the day has come: Canadians will learn who will represent them in the House of Commons. Since Confederation voter turnout in Canada has been low. According to CBC, Elections Canada is expecting a large voter turnout. 3.6 million Canadians voted in advance polls. Polls have closed in some parts of Eastern Canada. So who will lead Canada?
Everyone has heard it: every vote counts. It’s a known fact: not everyone votes. According to statistics from Elections Canada there’s never been a full voter turnout in Canada.
From Day 1 there are Polls. CBC reported that the writ was dropped on August 2 to start a 78 day/11 week federal campaign, election date set on 1 January 2015 for October 19. On 28 July the NDP and Conservatives both held one-third of support. Today the question is whether or not Polls can predict
