See The Senate Live

Canada’s newest reality show; drama, comedy, or politicians? See it live and decide!
Rahman Mohamed

It’s true that the Canadian Senate is really going to be broadcast live!

If you live in Toronto, you’re already exposed to a variety of political broadcasts, including Ontario’s Provincial Legislature (tame and boring today), the Toronto City Council (an exciting event highlighted with antics from Mayor Rob Ford), and the House of Commons (broadcast across Canada live from Ottawa by all cable systems on CPAC; highlighted with an aggressive Question Period). They’re not very widely watched, but can be truly exciting.

Unfortunately SenParlVU (The Canadian Senate) won’t immediately be available on HD like its counterparts since it’s being planned for live webcasting.

Live cameras will show the action that takes place in the Senate to people around the world. Check out your schedule to see if you can fit a viewing session into your schedule; see how much they really work, or say they do (you just might forget about the senate scandal). The next showing is on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, 2 PM EST.
