The word drone is not new to many. It has multiple definitions. It can be the lazy male bee or ant whose only job is mating with the queen, someone who’s lazy, or someone who just keeps talking, and talking, and talking, about the same subject and never seems to end (Don’t worry, this post is about a different Drone). The most common definition used today: Drone; the wireless computer that can fly.

The growing fundraising and assistance for refugees from
In 2014 the Assyrian Chaldean Syriac Student Union (ACSSU), a student organization with branches at McMaster, York, Ryerson and Brock Universities, ran a movement entitled “Life of a Mesopotamian Refugee” to raise funds for refugees from Syria and Iraq by mimicking the life of a refugee for a week. Today Europe is facing a Syrian refugee crisis as Syrians flee a country with multiple civil wars including the rebellion against dictating leader Bashar al-Assad and growing Islamic State (IS) or ISIL (Islamic State in Levant), seeking asylum in Europe. Many have called this the greatest number since World War 2.
With a concentration on the economy, the MacLean’s National Leaders’ Debate on 6 August was broken into 4 parts: economy, environment, security, and democracy. In the 17 September debate hosted by the Globe and Mail, “the economy is the most critical issue ballot box facing voters in this federal election making it the sole topic of the 2015 Globe and Mail debate”. Though she played an influential role on 6 August, Elizabeth May was left out as Stephen Harper, Justin Trudeau, and Thomas Mulcair squared off.
