Before the debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, watched and reported worldwide, both were told “Don’t forget your hearing aids”.  So the other didn’t continually say “What?”  In case one accidently or purposefully forget his Aids the mikes were turned off when it wasn’t his turn (the be nice and concentrate rule).  What really happened?

The Love of the Vote

Torontonians; the Canadians that love to vote

There’s still some time but soon Canada will see it’s largest by-election: vote for mayor of Toronto. John Tory won the mayor’s vote in October 2022; mid-February 2023 he returned the keys and the keyholder. Officially he said it was because he slept with a City worker during lockdown but many gossip and suggest other reasons; some suggest he’s going on a trip to Uranus. The question for Torontonians now: how many by-elections are going to be held in the city this year?

It’s true!  The Federal AND Provincial governments, the public, Canadian celebrities and large corporations actually agree on something (unsurprisingly it’s hockey).  Although the Toronto Blue Jays are in the post-season with home field advantage, first time since 2016, Hockey Canada is the centre of sports talk.
